Welcome! I’m so glad you found your way here.

I offer a somatic, mind-body approach to therapy for people who are ready to regulate their nervous systems.

It's such a tough time to be making your way through life right now. We're dealing with challenges that are completely new to us, at a pace that doesn't let up, and we're expected to get it right on the first try. Our bodies and minds are taxed. And we're doing all of it against the backdrop of traumas playing out locally and globally.

If you've spent time in talk therapy and still feel like something isn't shifting, there might be a reason for that. Healing trauma and regulating the nervous system is primarily a body-focused task. The mind and the body were never separate, but the way we live today can make it feel like they are.

I'm Sasha, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) offering virtual therapy for adults across Massachusetts. I work with people navigating trauma, chronic PTSD, anxiety, and burnout who are ready to involve their bodies in the healing process.

What We'll Do Together

In our sessions, we'll spend time learning to pay attention to the signals your body is sending, and then understanding what they mean. Somatic Experiencing is a technique developed specifically to help your nervous system release stored stress and come back to a more regulated baseline, so that feeling relaxed and at ease stops feeling so out of reach.

We still talk. A lot, actually. But we place our attention on the body just as much - and sometimes more than - the mind.

This work is for you if:

  • You've tried talk therapy and feel like something's still missing

  • You carry anxiety, stress, or trauma in your body and can't seem to shake it

  • You're dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, or the kind of burnout that sleep doesn't fix

  • You're just curious about what a somatic approach might offer you

How I Work

I strive to be warm, authentic, and interactive with my clients. It's important to me to not be too buttoned-up: while the work is serious, humans are innately playful creatures who learn and heal through having fun together.

I'm not going to sit quietly and nod. I'll be directing your attention, offering observations, and listening to what your nervous system is communicating just as much as what you're saying out loud.

If that sounds good to you, reach out!
